Ad seen in: SELF magazine 1979 November, and Glamour magazine 1979 November, many more I’m sure. 
When Stan heard about Gia’s death, he crumpled up the last photo above and threw it in the trash, he was so angry with her for doing drugs. Stan changed his mind, pulled out the photo, and it ended up in his book “You Should Have Been With Me”. as it was, un-crumpled.
Stan Shaffer’s book “You Should Have Been There” was published October 15, 2010, four months after his death.
Stan finished this fabulous photographic scrapbook on June 9, 2010 and sent it off to the publisher. the night before he died.
